Deposition from High Temperature Jet Fuels

Atria (Pennsylvania State University) Four approaches to mitigating carbon deposition were evaluated: fuel processing, fuel deoxygenation, additives, and SilcoNert® 1000 (Silcosteel®) surface treatment (a preliminary study). SilcoNert 1000 treatment prolonged the period before the onset of carbon deposition.
