Dr. Shaylee Becerra

Associate R&D Scientist

Dr. Shaylee Becerra is a member of SilcoTek's Research and Development team. Before attending graduate school, she worked as a Process Engineer in the consumer goods (home care/beauty) industry, focusing on process improvement and product scale up. Shaylee earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University where she focused on polymer nanoparticle composite coatings for glass applications and technology. She brings an extensive background of materials characterization techniques and knowledge on amorphous silica materials to the team.
