Curiosity Mars Rover Improves Sampling with SilcoNert® 2000

Did you know that SilcoNert® 2000 is on Mars?  NASA Curiosity Mars Rover uses SilcoNert® 2000 lined MXT tubing to improve inert sample reliability.  The proven durability and inertness of SilcoNert® 2000 allows Curiosity to accurately sample the Mars environment.  To learn more about how Curiosity (SAM) and SilcoNert® 2000 are exploring Mars, go to the JPL website:  http://msl-scicorner.jpl.nasa.gov/Instruments/SAM/

Why did NASA choose SilcoNert® 2000?  SilcoNert® 2000 treated sampling and transfer equipment improve sampling and cycle times.  Improved accuracy and reliability of data mean downstream processes and product can be more precisely controlled, resulting in significant cost and time savings.  On Mars, you only have one chance to get it right!  That's why NASA chose SilcoNert® 2000.
