Research Improves Electrical Properties of Dursan® Coating

One of the ongoing R&D projects at SilcoTek is to modify Dursan® and improve its dielectric properties (i.e. better electrical insulating properties with minimized loss). The process optimization has led to a modified Dursan coating that shows improved dielectric properties. The P-E response of the modified Dursan coating is shown below. The linear P-E response is characteristic of a low loss capacitor.
