Well it's that time of year again when we reflect on our accomplishments and not-so-accomplishments of 2016. Rather than hear me whine about how those 20 lbs I failed to lose, let's talk about success, Silcotek® success.
Manufacturing excellence
From ISO 9001:2015 recertification to 5S improvements our manufacturing team continues to improve and refine the production floor. Engineering teams have gone ballistic on driving out variation in the process and improving/streamlining methods and systems. The result? Record quality, improved leadtimes, and yields!
R&D
SilcoTek® is focused on driving innovation and R&D is the pilot. New developments and refinements in existing processes as well as new products have kept our IP director busy writing patents.
Licensing For On-Site Processing
The Engineering team has become so successful at driving out variation and improving process reliability that we're now able to license turn key coating systems to our customers. Just go to our licensing page to learn more about this exciting new opportunity!
Revenue Team
The days and weeks on the road for our Sales & Marketing Team and long hours by our Customer Service staff have paid off with a record number of new customers. We continue to offer innovative solutions to new markets, processes, and products.
Our customers can find us just about anywhere in the world due to our expanding sales rep program. We added Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Canada, and South Korea to our expanding list of represented countries.
And if you can't find a local rep, you'll easily find us on the web. Our upgraded website is designed to improve the coating purchase experience and better inform our customers about the latest coating innovations from SilcoTek.
The Road Ahead
As for 2017 we're redoubling our efforts to improve your SilcoTek® web experience. We'll be adding features to make ordering, and using our coatings easier. And We have lots of interesting and helpful content planned including more webinars and e-books.
All-in-all an excellent year for SilcoTek! As for me, I'll keep working in losing those 20 lbs.
